Recreate any viral video with your photo

Dances, memes, movie-style moments: pick one, add your face, and post it the same day. You don't need to film anything, learn an editor or install an app. Choose a viral video, upload a few photos of yourself, a friend who said yes, or your pet, and get back your own version with the original moves, camera and sound. It runs in the browser on your phone or laptop, and you pay per video instead of per month.

The app opens soon. Join early access and we'll email you when it's ready.

Three steps

  1. Choose the video. Pick a trend from the template library, or upload your own clip (at least 4 seconds; we use the first 15).
  2. Add your photos. 1 to 8 photos of the same person or pet. Two-person trends need a set for each person.
  3. Check the price and generate. You'll see the exact credit cost before you start. At launch, you'll download the MP4 or copy a share link when it's done.

Pick a trend

What makes a good photo

The photo is the biggest thing you control, so it's worth a minute:

  • Face visible and in focus. No sunglasses, no hand over the face, no heavy beauty filter.
  • Even light. Daylight from the front or side beats a dark room or harsh flash.
  • Show your body for movement trends. For dances, sports and walk-ins, include at least one full-body photo. For lip-sync and close-ups, a sharp waist-up photo is enough.
  • One subject per photo. Crop out other people. For two-person trends, keep each person's photos in their own set.
  • More is better, up to 8. A few angles of the same face help the model stay consistent when the head turns.

Pets work too: get down to their eye level and make sure the face is clear.

The model behind it

Genjutsu Generator runs Genjutsu, a motion-transfer model made by Higgsfield. Motion transfer keeps a video's motion, camera and timing and rebuilds the subject from your photos, which is why the results match the original trend so closely. We use Genjutsu Light by default and offer full Genjutsu as an HQ option. We're an independent app and not affiliated with Higgsfield. How motion transfer works.

What it costs

You pay per second of video, rounded up, on up to the first 15 seconds of the clip. A full 15-second video is planned to cost:

Be fair to the people in your video

Only upload photos you own or that the person has said yes to, and never photos of anyone under 18. Don't use AI remakes to pretend to be someone else, mislead people or embarrass anyone. Label your video as AI-made where the platform asks, and expect some platforms to mute copyrighted music. The full rules are in our terms.

Questions

Can I put myself in a viral video without filming anything?

Yes. You upload photos, pick a viral video, and the model rebuilds the video with you in it, keeping the original moves, camera and audio.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Genjutsu Generator runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and desktop.

How many photos do I need?

At least one clear photo; up to 8 of the same person or pet helps. Two-person trends need photos of each person.

Can I use my own viral video?

Yes, if you have the right to use it. Clips need to be at least 4 seconds, and we use the first 15 seconds.

Is it free?

At launch, new accounts get 80 free credits, enough for one full 15-second video at 480p. After that, packs start at $9 with no subscription.
