About the Tecktonik Dance trend

Tecktonik is a French club dance with a very specific look: fast, sharp arm and hand moves, quick head turns and a lot of neon. It took shape in the early 2000s at Metropolis, a large nightclub in Rungis, just south of Paris, where organisers Cyril Blanc and Alexandre Barouzdin ran "Tecktonik Killer" nights built around electro, hardstyle and jumpstyle music. The name became a registered brand, and in 2007 the dance spread across France through street meet-ups and video-sharing sites before fading by the end of 2008.

The Tecktonik Dance AI template brings that energy back with you in the middle of it. You upload photos, Genjutsu carries the dancer's arm moves, timing and the clip's audio over to your subject, and you get a short video that looks like you spent a summer in a Paris club.

Genjutsu Generator runs Genjutsu, the motion-transfer model made by Higgsfield, as an independent app. Because Tecktonik is mostly about the arms and upper body, photos that show your shoulders, arms and hands help a lot. We use up to the first 15 seconds of the clip and show the credit cost before you generate. The app isn't open yet; join early access to try Tecktonik Dance at launch.

How to make your Tecktonik Dance video

  1. Pick one dancer

One person per clip. You, a friend who has said yes, or a pet if you want the funniest version.

  2. Upload photos with your arms visible

1 to 8 waist-up or full-body photos of the same person. Arms by your sides or slightly out is ideal.

  3. Choose a resolution

Fast arm movement looks cleaner at 720p or 1080p. 480p is fine for a test.

  4. Generate and review

Watch the hands closely. If they blur, try HQ (full Genjutsu) at 480p or 720p for cleaner motion.

Tips for a better Tecktonik Dance video

  • The dance lives in the arms: avoid photos where your hands are in your pockets or cropped out.
  • Bright, even lighting on your face keeps it stable through quick head turns.
  • Fitted clothing helps the model read your body shape.
  • HQ costs about 3x the credits of Light but can handle fast hands better; try Light first.

Tecktonik Dance AI video FAQ

Where did Tecktonik come from?

It started in the early 2000s at the Metropolis nightclub in Rungis, south of Paris, at 'Tecktonik Killer' nights, and spread across France in 2007.

What photo works best for Tecktonik Dance?

A clear waist-up or full-body photo with your arms and hands visible, since the dance is mostly arm movement.

Should I use Light or HQ for this template?

Start with Light. If fast hand movements look blurry, HQ (full Genjutsu) at 480p or 720p gives cleaner motion for about 3x the credits.

How much does a 15-second Tecktonik video cost?

75 credits at 480p, 150 at 720p, 285 at 1080p with Light; 240 or 510 credits with HQ. Planned launch prices.

Is Genjutsu Generator connected to the Tecktonik brand or Higgsfield?

No. We're an independent app, not affiliated with the Tecktonik trademark owners or with Higgsfield.
